As a longstanding partner of 2e, Sigma-Aldrich knows that it’s never too early to come to us with an idea. So when they stepped into our offices after restructuring their business units and corporate strategy, they knew they’d step out with a clear and creative way to engage and educate their nearly 10,000 employees on the updated direction.
THE CHALLENGE
Sigma-Aldrich already knew what they wanted to say, they just weren’t clear on how to say it. With employees in 40 countries, it was imperative that we create a communication platform that would not only reach every corner of the globe, but would also translate easily in any culture.
THE STRATEGY
Working with Sigma-Aldrich leadership, we honed in on one of the company’s new messaging acronyms: FUEL (Focus on your customer; Understand our strategy; Engage to support our strategy; Lead our success through results). Rallying around FUEL, we engineered an identity, posters, video and messaging campaign that embraced the new focus on the customer, while also celebrating the importance and value of the Sigma-Aldrich employee.
