NU CHOCOLAT Brand Identity

Building the Foundation of a Luxury Confectioner


THE CHALLENGE

When small Vermont-based, family-owned chocolate shop NU Chocolat needed to get started on the right foot, they tapped 2e Creative to develop a logo and color palette that exuded luxury and sophistication, while still showcasing the simplicity of a small, family-owned business.


THE STRATEGY

To develop a unique brand identity, our team took inspiration from chocolate in its final form: neatly wrapped bars and truffles. The geometric style of the lettering lends itself easily to both recipes, representing the process of creating the chocolate and the finished product itself — the shape, the presentation, the embellishments put on top. The chosen colors illustrate different characteristics and flavors: deep blue for rich dark chocolate, light gray or pink for creamy milk chocolate, and rose gold for the elegant taste of a luxury brand.
